I have noticed this season how badly we defend, how we do not defend as a team from the very front, how we don’t have a regular outlet when regaining possession to make enough of it. How we deliberately funnel back, how we regularly concede due to back four mistakes or midfielders losing easy possession.

Have you noticed how bad we are defensively whereby only the bottom three teams have conceded more goals than us to date.
Its for sure that whoever comes in to manage us needs to get us defending more effectively in the future.

Given that throughout Dawson's career he had only been managed by the likes of Moyes, Pulis and a bunch of failed journeymen who only lasted a few months, I wouldn't set too much store by that.
